Mary Doyle

A full-time personal trainer for over 20 years, Mary has trained in clubs, studios, her home and client’s homes. Currently, she is the Fitness Director at Capitola Fitness where she manages the aerobics, personal training and nutrition departments. Even if she is not the perfect trainer for you with a staff of over 10 trainers, she is happy to help you find the right fit!

She oversees 4-5 weight loss contests each year to help members and clients stay accountable and on track. She and colleague Joan Romero give 4 free “chats” a year at the club which they also video and post online for viewing anytime. Topics include lifestyle changes, nutrition, and exercise. Mary was instrumental in helping me condition for long distance cycling events over the past several years. She provided challenging workouts tailored specifically for me, taking into account the limitations with my knees, and helped me achieve my weight loss and fitness goals. She also helped me rehabilitate after several surgeries, the largest of which was kidney transplant donor surgery and most recently two level cervical spine discectomy and fusion.
